Apple’s iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus pre-orders begin – these are the best prices

Pre-orders are almost live for the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, but they certainly aren't cheap. The iPhone 8 prices start at $699, and the iPhone 8 Plus price starts at $799. Add the Apple Watch 3 into the mix and that's at least another $329.

With those high prices, you'd be crazy not to want some kind of iPhone 8 deal. Fortunately, carriers are coming out with deals to lighten the onerous price of a new iPhone.

T-Mobile has one of the best iPhone 8 and Apple Watch 3 deals available right now for anyone who wants to pre-order. And the deal gets even better if you have an iPhone to trade in.

For anyone hoping to save a wad of cash on the new iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus, T-mobile is offering $300 off with the trade-in of an iPhone 6 or newer model. The discount comes via 24 monthly credits to T-Mobile's device installment plan.

On top of the $300 discount, T-Mobile will make upgrading to the next new iPhone easy by signing customers up for its iPhone upgrade program for free. The program allows customers to upgrade to a new iPhone after making 12 monthly payments on their device installment plan.

Verizon has a similar deal, with up to $300 off an iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus depending on what old phone you trade-in for the new one.

Sprint is offering 50% off an iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus lease, which can add up to a decent savings over the course of the lease.

AT&T has yet to show a comparable iPhone 8 deal, though it will sell a new 32GB iPad for $99 with the purchase of an iPhone.

The Apple Watch 3 deals

If the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus deals aren't enough for you, several carriers making the new Apple Watch 3 with cellular connectivity a little easier to snatch.

T-Mobile will give customers a free 3-month trial of cellular service for the Apple Watch 3. The new watch is capable of connecting to the cellular network to be used for calls, texting, and more. After the 3-month trial, the service will be $10 a month via auto-pay.

Verizon will also waive the activation fee and first three months of line access fees for the Apple Watch 3 for owners of an iPhone 6 or newer.

AT&T is effectively offering this same deal, with a $25 activation fee credit and $30 service credit for the Apple Watch 3. That adds up to thee months of free service.
